馬伯英從事中西醫臨床40余年，曾受邀為世界著名科學學家李約瑟博士《中國科學技術史》醫學卷的合作者，劍橋大學和英國學術院訪問院士。在英工作近20年，創辦英國杏林中醫研究生院XPCT。

馬伯英臨床擅長治療疑難雜癥，發表過論文200余篇，出版著作十余種。

馬伯英同時是國際著名中醫史學家。

Professor Dr Ma has been practising both Western medicine and Chinese Medicine for over 43 years. He was a co-operator of Dr Joseph Needham (1900-1995) for the project of Science & Civilization in China and a visiting fellow at the University of Cambridge and the British Academy. He has worked in the UK for nearly 20 years practising and teaching Chinese medicine in particular for the complex cases and has gained good results. He also founded the Xinglin Postgraduate College of TCM (XPCT) in 1999 with many acupuncturists and TCM practitioners as his students. He published over 200 articles and 10 books, and a renowned medical historian in the world as well.
