World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies (Abbreviation: WFCMS) is an international academic organization with 215 member societies in 58 countries and regions. To strengthen the cooperation and exchange of traditional medicine and Chinese medicine, promote the development of Chinese medicine in African countries, and provide medical service for people all around the world, World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies (China International Collaborating Center of Chinese Medicine), together with University of the Western Cape and Association of Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture in Africa, will host “the 1st Sino-Africa Forum of International Cooperation and Development of Chinese Medicine” during March 24th -25th 2012 in Cape Town, South Africa. By establishing an international platform for exchange and cooperation of traditional medicine and Chinese medicine, we can integrate academic resources, and improve the academic level and the quality, safety and accessibility of services of traditional medicine (Chinese medicine)

1.3 The Control of Chinese Medicine on the Prevention and Treatment of Critical Diseases and Clinical Study and Application of Acupuncture

Ø  The Study on Clinical application of Chinese medicine and acupuncture

Requirements of paper:                    
1. Papers should be submitted in Microsoft Word document format.
2. The text (including references) should be within 4000 words, in either Chinese or English. Articles should be accompanied with both Chinese and English abstracts of 200 words or so. Chinese keywords should be placed under the Chinese abstract; the English keywords should be corresponding with the Chinese ones and also be placed under the English abstract. Please list all the names of the authors according to priority and provide the full name and detailed address of the authors’ employer. All the tables used in the article should be demonstrated in “three-line table”. And authors are advised to avoid using tables as long as they can explain it in words.
3. If there are no more than 3 authors of reference books, please list all of them; If there are more than 3 authors of a book, only the first 3 names are required and please add “, etc.” after them. References should give priority to the documents published in recent 5 years. And each one should be specified with the beginning and ending page.

The registration fee covers lunch, Banquet, conference materials, translation, etc. After the forum, there will be an academic tour, and the charge is not included.
